Recently, with the assistance of APMA,  the AmericanAssociation of Colleges of Podiatric Medicine (AACPM), and the Colleges of Podiatric Medicine .... 

The National Association of Advisors to the Health Professions (NAAHP) devoted the entire year ending 2008 edition of their quarterly journal, to Podiatric Medicine.   NAAHP is the largest Advisor organization representing Pre-Med advisors in the United States.   Distributed to nearly 1,400 advisors, the special edition published in December 2008 was highlighted by a letter to the editor from APMA President Ross E. Taubman, DPM.  Dr. Taubman challenged the advisors to refer students to podiatric medicine, which he wrote is " the best-kept secret in medicine.”

NAAHP journal Editor Carol Baffi-Duggan, an advisor at Tufts University, wrote that the special edition gives her and other advisors an “opportunity to gain more in-depth understanding of a profession [such as podiatric medicine], and that it made her think  “that [she] may have been overlooking podiatric medicine for too long.”

The journal also included articles on podiatric medical residency training, Young Members, and mentoring.
